MyPlayList uses the XSPF xml format to combine images from the Flickr image sharing service, with music that is hosted across the internet.

• What does this app do?

Enter any band, (and if we haven't already made one) the system will automatically compile a Flickr - music extravaganza, then when it has finished playing through it will make you a new playlist for a similar band.



• Can I make my own playlist?

Yes, simply register and you will have full control over the music and images you wish to use, we have a very easy to use interface and you will be presented with various embed-able versions upon completion.



• Can I upload my own music or images?

You CANNOT upload music or images, Myplaylist simply organises the content that is already available on the internet.



• Is this a free service?

Yes



• Can I use pictures that are hosted on photo sharing sites other than Flickr?

No, we only have the facility to import imagedata from the Flickr photo sharing service.



• Is it legal?

Yes, we do NOT host, cache, nor publish any content whatsoever! We simply reorganise the meta data of content that is primarily published by third parties (like search engines do), allowing users a method of viewing this content in an effective format, (similar also to how a browser facilitates a user to view content that is primarily published by third parties).



• Who is behind this project?

Agentbleu - my online pseudonyme, I am an independent application developer, living in Europe, but originally from London.



• Motivation for building this app?

I started this application primarily as a technical challenge which would push forward my own hacking / design / system admin / SEO skills, while at the same time working on an interesting and enjoyable project. If others also find this web app enjoyable and fun then that's a great bonus...



• Am I for hire?

Yes, I am currently available for freelance work, I am competent in: LAMP, AS2, AS3, PHP5, Mysql, XML, Javascript, Ajax, system admin, SEO. I only work from my home, no office job offers please! Rates very competitive.
